Pirates Gold:
10 pirates on a ship have to divide up the booty of 100 gold pieces. They are ranked in order, first to last. They decide on certain method for distributing the money: The pirate with the lowest rank may suggest a way of dividing up the gold. Then everyone votes (including the pirate who came up with the suggestion). If more than half of the pirates vote against this certain distribution the pirate with the lowest rank will be dumped into the sea and the next pirate in line will give a suggestion. This will go on until a solution is found. The pirates do not cooperate. Everyone wants to get as much gold as possible. Under no circumstance a pirate wants to be dumped into the sea.
